Chevy Silverado Dealership

For more than 20 years, the Chevy Silverado models have been among the most powerful, sophisticated, and impressive trucks on the road. There is a reason that so many people, year after year, rely on their Chevy trucks to help them get their work done, and the powerful engines and incredible capabilities of these pickups really speak for themselves. As your Chevy Silverado dealership, we are incredibly pleased to be able to offer these amazing trucks. Whether you are looking for the reliable muscle of the Silverado 1500 or one of the incredibly powerful Silverado HD models, we have you covered.

Choosing the right truck is about more than simply looking at a model that seems good and hoping it has the features you need. It comes down to real-world capability and applications; you need a truck that can work as hard as you do. Here at Jay Hatfield Chevrolet, we understand the needs of our truck-owning customers, and we work hard every day to make sure everyone who comes to us drives away in the perfect pickup. Whether you know that a Silverado is ideal for you, or you have a lot of questions and you are uncertain of which model will work best for your needs, we will make sure you drive away in the right truck.

The Chevy Silverado Legacy

Although the Silverado as we know and love it today only goes back about 20 years, it builds on a legacy of Chevy trucks that can be traced back to more than 100 years ago. The first Chevy truck was a chassis cab that used the same design as the popular Chevrolet Series 490 automobile, and it was released in 1917 – in the years that followed, Chevy trucks were similarly based on their car designs but with platforms that could be built on or with beds on them. It was not until 1941 that Chevy finally introduced a truck built on its own platform, rather than based on a car design, with the AK Series.

The modern Silverado, however, was the successor to the popular Chevy C/K truck series, which was first introduced in 1960 and was available until the 2000 model year. That is a huge legacy to live up to: more than 100 years in total, with 40 years of the Chevy C/K being one of the most popular and impressive trucks on the road. When the Chevy Silverado series was introduced for the 1999 model year, it was clear that Chevy’s designers and engineers understood this and worked to build a new truck that would live up to that incredible reputation.

In the decades that have followed, the Chevy Silverado models have proven themselves year after year, offering an incredible combination of power, real-world functionality and performance, and interiors that feature everything you need. The Silverado Series includes numerous models, starting with the Silverado 1500, which is a full-size light-duty pickup truck designed for both work and play. If you need something larger and more powerful, then the Silverado HD models, the 2500HD and 3500HD, are great options that deliver even more impressive payload and towing capacities. Beyond that, there are also a number of commercial Chevy trucks available, including modern chassis cabs and much more; no matter what you need in your next pickup, Chevy has you covered.

2022 Chevy Silverado 1500

Within Chevy’s lineup, the standard Silverado 1500 is a great place to start. This is a full-size option, like all Silverado models, with a light-duty design. There are numerous engines available, including a newly-boosted 2.7L I-4 Turbo High-Output engine that delivers 310 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. Beyond that, you can pick from several other engines, including a 6.2L V8 and a 3.0L I-6 Turbo Diesel, giving you the kind of power and performance you need. This year introduces a fully redesigned interior for LT trims and higher, and a new ZR2 off-road trim includes Multimatic DSSV dampers and 33-inch off-road tires to provide incredible ground clearance.

  • Available 13.4-inch infotainment display
  • Available Super Cruise hands-free driving technology
  • Up to 2,280 lbs of payload capacity
  • Up to 13,300 lbs of towing capacity

2022 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

If you are looking for something with more power and boosted performance compared to the Silverado 1500, then the Silverado 2500HD is a great option. This is not Chevy’s most powerful truck, but it does have more muscle than the standard 1500. There are only two engines available, compared to the four offered on the Silverado 1500, though you can choose from either two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Features depend on the trim you look at, but you can get an advanced trailering system with customized profiles as well as eight available cameras to provide you with up to 15 unique views that make maneuvering while towing easier.

  • Available automatic emergency braking
  • Available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine
  • Up to 3,979 lbs of payload capacity
  • Up to 18,510 lbs of towing capacity

2022 Chevy Silverado 3500HD

For the most powerful consumer option, the Chevy Silverado 3500HD delivers on muscle even beyond the 2500HD. You can choose from the same two engines on the 3500HD that are available on the 2500HD, with both two-wheel and four-wheel drive available. Perhaps the biggest benefit of the 3500HD, however, is that it is available with a dual-rear-wheel setup. When properly equipped, this boosts the payload capabilities tremendously and is especially impressive if you are interested in gooseneck or fifth-wheel towing. You can get a lot of the same impressive features and options on the 3500HD as the 2500HD, including the advanced trailering system and numerous camera angles for superior visibility.

  • Available forward collision alert
  • Up to 7,442 lbs of payload capacity
  • Up to 20,000 lbs of conventional towing capacity
  • Up to 36,000 lbs of gooseneck towing capacity
